January wrap up

A new month, a new year! The first month of 2012 is already over and that means it's time for the January wrap up. I read 13 books this month, which leads up to a nice total to start the year with. It was a pretty good reading month!

The stats as of now: 13 books, equals 4,730 pages - which is close to the total amount of pages I read in 2010. Wow! If I keep up this pace, I should be able to read 50,000 pages this year. Yes, that's still my goal! Here's this month's wrap up video :)

January
Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi
Blood Bound by Rachel Vincent
Everneath by Brodi Ashton
The Darkest Whisper by Gena Showalter
Firelight. Ziel van Vuur by Sophie Jordan
Incarceron by Catherine Fisher
My Scorching Summer Diary by Liz Rettig
Your Heart Like Quicksilver by Theo Lawrence
The Fault in our Stars by John Green
Slave to Sensation by Nalini Singh
Lord of the Vampires by Gena Showalter
Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi

Started but not yet finished
Cinder by Marissa Meyer (finished 30/1)

Still continuing to read as many review copies as I can, since the pile is still almost the size of Mount Everest.  BUT I'm making progress - huzzah! More than half of the books I've read this month are review titles (7). Very proud of that!

My favorite this month is The Fault in our Stars, which is the only book that got 5 stars from me so far. It was absolutely fantastic! I also really enjoyed Under the Never Sky and Blood Bound, both of them got 4.5 stars from me so they are definitely recommended! I've read two books this month that weren't as good as I wanted them to be, which is a shame. But thankfully most of them were awesome!

Which books have you read this month? Which of those was your favorite? :)
