In My Mailbox (31)

Another Sunday, another In My Mailbox! In My Mailbox is hosted by Kristi over at The Story Siren where we show what bookish things we got this week. I had a good week again! Well, actually, every week when I get books is a good week, don't you think? Lol. Here's my IMM vlog for this week!

So happy with my books! Unfortunately two came in damaged, but everything worked out. I love the great customer service at Amazon and Bookdepository!

What did you get in your mailbox this week? Happy reading!

  1. I just got The THRONE OF FIRE, too. My two oldest kids read it and loved it. Now it's my turn to read it - can't wait!

  2. I just got The Summer I Turned Pretty too. I can't wait to read it and also see your thoughts. Great IMM this week :)

  3. Yay! You finally got The Summer I Turned Pretty! LOVE that book. And I really want The Girl Who Was on Fire. It looks awesome :D
    Happy reading!

  4. Susan it sounds so good! It's good to hear your kids liked it :) Happy reading!

  5. Thanks BP! I heard so many great things about the series that I gave in :) Will put a review up for it when I've finished reading it!

    Happy reading :)

  6. Lol Cic you played a role in me picking it up.. You kept saying how good it was so.. Here I am ;)

  7. The Summer I Turned Pretty is such a good book. Prepare some tissues! I'm DYING to read EON - *is jealous* I can't wait to see what you think of it!

    Books of Amber

  8. Haven't read any of these books yet, but Eon sounds great. Nice books you got!

    I'm a new follower btw.

  9. Too bad your books are damaged! I hate when that happens. Do you order your books from I'm curious to see what you think about The Summer I Turned Pretty!

  10. They all sound great. The Summer I Turned Pretty has had some awesome reviews.

Eon looks huge! I think that might put me off a little.

The Girl Who Was On Fire sounds interesting. I loved The Hunger Games so I really must get this one soon.

I hope you enjoy all those books.

  11. Thanks Lena :) No I order almost all of my books off Bookdepository or Amazon, depending on what's cheaper :) has great service, but their prices are quite steep and I can't afford that much money on books.. For the same price of 1 book on Bol, I can buy 2 or 3 on Bookdepository :)

  12. Did you happen to order this version of The Handmaid's Tale by any chance:

It's because I found that when you type the *EXACT* ISBN into GoodReads it comes up with the cover you have. I noticed this when I was adding it to my bookshelves. So that may explain why you got that one!

I hope you enjoy it :)

  13. Oh, I love EON so much! It was one of the best books i had read last year. I swear, you'll really want to have its sequel, EONA close by. :P
    Happy reading.

Check out what's in my mailbox! :)

  14. Yes that's the edition that I ordered.. I emailed them but they said they couldn't guarantee that you get the cover you order. Which I find ridiculous, because I partly select a book on the cover.. (if I can pick from multiple covers, that is). They said that they can only deliver the cover that is supplied on the books they receive from the publisher, which is only logical, but then why not put the right cover up on your site? *frustrating*

(I just asked them if they could change the cover on the site, because the book is in great condition.. But they won't. Sigh)

This one came on my radar because of your Dystopian List, so thank you!!

  15. I ADORE The Handmaid's Tale - such a fantastic book, and I hope you love it!

  16. I LOVE Rick Riordon's books!

My IMM is up as well.
