Okay so that's a pretty big list to pick a favorite from.. I'll have to say that the 'favorite book read in March' award goes to YA Debut authors for 2011 - Divergent by Veronica Roth and Starcrossed by Josephine Angelini! But honestly, there wasn't a single book this month that I didn't enjoy reading. It was a great reading month!
What books have you read in March? What was the best book you've read? Did you have disappointing reads?
Wow thats a lot of books! And from what I've heard, they're all great
ReplyDeleteWow, that is a massive list. I saw it on my Google Reader and had to run over! Hope you loved most of them ;)
ReplyDeleteAmazing list of books! All the books I want to read. I'm jealous you had the time to read 19 books this month. I only managed to read 9. -.-
ReplyDeleteWow! And I thought 20 books so far this year was good! My goal is 50 :)
ReplyDeleteMy March:
36. Oryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood
37. City of Bones by Cassandra Clare
38. Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro
39. The Basement by Stephen Leather
40. Animal Farm by George Orwell
41. Unwind by Neal Shusterman
42. Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver
43. The Giver by Lois Lowry
I don't really have a favourite - quite a few I gave 5/5. I was most disappointed by City of Bones as I thought I'd like it a lot more than I did.
Thanks Cliona and Lisa! I did enjoy every one of them, some more than others though :) But still a lot of awesome!
ReplyDeleteNaj aw! I can't find a job, so I'm at home - and making the most of my time by reading a lot. The good weather helped, lol xD 9 books is a good amount of books! Don't be disappointed!
ReplyDeleteHope they were good books :)
prettybooks - oh nice list of books! I'm planning to read City of Bones later this month - too bad it was disappointing to you :( Out of curiosity, why do you think you didn't like it more than you did? (I saw you had a review up on your Tumblr - but I'm scared to read spoilers xD)
ReplyDeleteIt's good that you didn't read it because there were MAJOR spoilers, haha.
ReplyDeleteI mainly said "Overall, I did enjoy the book and I will continue the series (partly because I did genuinely liked the book, partly because I’ve already purchased the others) and I hope that I’ll become more engaged in the storyline. I’m looking forward to see what happens next in the City of Glass as well as The Infernal Devices series. It’s action-packed and fast-paced but I don’t think it deserves the hype."
I think it was just too fantasy-ish for me as it's not my first choice genre. I knew it was "urban fantasy" obviously but didn't realise HOW much fantasy was in it. I think I enjoy more realistic fantasy.
WOW! That is a lot of books =)
