In My Mailbox! (2)

It's sunday again! Jeesh, the time flew by.. I wanted to do a ton more for my blog here but I've been busy so that's why.. But I got some books in this week so I thought I'd share it with you with another In My Mailbox! For more information about the meme In My Mailbox, check out The Story Siren.

This is what I got in this week :)

Lea Saskia Laasner - "Ik was pas dertien" (Original titel: "Allein gegen Seelenf√§nger- Meine Kindheit in der Psychosekte"). This is the true story of a girl that ends up in a cult when she's only thirteen - her parents decide to join the cult. Her parents don't do anything about the situation when she ends up being the personal sex slave of the cult leader. She managed to escape, and she wrote this book to tell her story.

"The Pillars of the Earth" by Ken Follett. The book is about the realization of building a huge cathedral in 12th century England. I've heard great things about this book, but I was taken by surprise when I saw that the book has almost a 1,000 pages (whoops, forgot to check that when I ordered). I guess I will have to take a complete week off to read this big boy ;)

"Percy Jackson and the Olympians" box by Rick Riordan. This box contains "Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief", "Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters" and "Percy Jackson and the Titan's Curse". I know there are more books in the series, but I wanted to try this box first. I'm hoping this will be an amazing series - I loved Harry Potter and I'm really digging the Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel series by Michael Scott, so let's hope that this series fits in that category too!

I took a picture of the other side of the box because I like nice boxes! The box shows two of the three covers that are in the boxset. Me likes! I have to find a way to put this in my book closet and show the images at the same time.. Hm.. *thinks*

Well, that's all I got in my mailbox this week, what did you get in yours?
