Chapters seven and eight

I just finished reading chapter seven and eight, and there's not much more to say, except for "Ah well, now she knows". Everyone knows it after reading the description of the book on the backside, but whatever ;)

He's going to tell her in the next chapter, I'm sure!

A Little Note To Let You Know I'm Still Alive

I haven't updated in a couple of days, because I haven't had the time to read. I haven't read one single word in a printed book the last 5 days and to be honest, it feels like I'm detoxing. I'm picking up Twilight again tonight and hopefully I can read some chapters.

Behind the scenes I'm debating on which book(s) I should get. I have some money in my Paypal account and I would love some more books. I have vampire books on my wishlist, but I can't decide which one(s) I should get! On my current wishlist (well it's bigger, but this is what I'm debating on now):

The Nightworld Series by L.J. Smith
The Trueblood Boxset by Charlaine Harris
"The Host" by Stephenie Meyer

If you have recommendations, please share!

I will be back later today with an update on what I read in Twilight!

Chapter Six: Scary Stories

I just read chapter six. Bella goes to the beach with a bunch of people she knows from school. This isn't really an interesting chapter, just about some little hiking trip they make where Bella falls a couple of times. When she gets back, she starts talking with Jacob, a boy that from his description, looks almost as droolworthy as Edward does; only he has long hair. In a ponytail. Yuk! Well anyway, Bella walks with him on the beach and Jacob tells her about the legends of his tribe. He also tells her about the enemy of his tribe: the cold ones.

They were on their land many years back, but Jacob tells Bella that the same cold ones are still around; the Cullens.

I'm not sure of I can read and post tomorrow, since I will be going to a birthday party. I don't want to wait an extra day to read again! :(

I hope you have a great weekend!

Chapter Four and Five: Invitations & Bloodtypes

It's almost bedtime, but I just wanted to share my thoughts on chapter four and five.

In these chapters, Bella gets asked to the upcoming dance three times, but she declines every invotation by saying that she'll be in Seattle on that day. One day, Edward starts off his question by saying the day of the dance, but only to ask her of she could use a ride. Whoohoo, a ride to Seattle with Edward and his shiny Volvo!

Apparently, Edward decided to talk to Bella again. I can almost feel the butterflies in her stomach when he speaks to her again. He even invites her over to his table to have lunch together, although they don't eat anything (we all know why Edward doesn't eat hehe). He decides to ditch biology, while Bella goes to her class. They are studying blood types and Bella gets sick, so she's taken to the nurse.

Edward promises the nurse to take Bella home, so he drives her home in his car. She invites him to the upcoming trip to the beach of La Push, but he says no.

Next chapter is scary stories. I can't wait!!

Currently reading: Twilight by Stephenie Meyer

Just a little note beforehand: I think I will post a little post after every chapter or every other chapter or so while reading Twilight. This way, you can follow my journey troughout the book and eventually the series. This means that I can post things that may or may not contain spoilers. If you haven't read the book yet, and you don't want to read these things, you may want to wait with reading these post(s).

So, at the moment I'm reading Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. I've started reading yesterday before bed and I've read the first three chapters now - I try to read before bed only so I don't go through the book(s) too quickly. I've read First Impressions, Open Book and Phenomenon. My favorite part of these three is the scene where Bella walks into the class room and Edward is already sitting there. When she walks in, he looks at her with a disgusted look on his face, making her wonder if she smells bad (which she doesn't, because she smells like the strawberry shampoo she used). I love love love this part. I can really see him sitting there and making a face like he's going to throw up.

Then, there's of course the accident in chapter three. Edward is unwilling to explain how he could have saved Bella, but she's determined to get the truth out of him, whatever it's gonna cost. Because of the accident, Bella is taken to the hospital, where we meet Carlisle for the first time. Now, I don't know about you, but I see him walking around there in his white coat with his perfect face and features.. Wow. I would like to have that kind of a doctor!

I'm reading Chapter Four, Invitations tonight. I'm going to try and blog right after that to share it with you, but I'm not sure if I can since I will be posting from my phone and that's not the easiest way to type a complete post I think.

A Little Hi

A little word of 'hello' before I really start this blog. Hi! Thank you for stopping by on this little blog of mine. I decided to start a blog about the books I read, because I'm really passionate about reading.

I might not be your standard reader since I like to read books that don't ask too much thinking, but I am usually really absorbed in the stories I read. I love Fantasy, and therefore I love books like Harry Potter and The Nicholas Flamel Series so you'll probably see these sometime in the future. I also like chicklit. Yes, I am guilty. I read them every now and then and I have to say, that they are really amusing sometimes!

Another thing that doesn't make me your standard book reader: I like to re-read books. Over and over. I like to fully absorb the stories in books I really like and I love discovering new elements in the story, every time I read it.

So, that's a little bit about my reading habits. About myself; I'm a twentysomething year old girl and I like to write as well.

I hope that you enjoy reading this blog, and maybe even reading with me. If you would like to follow my blog, you can also follow me through bloglovin: Follow my blog with bloglovin
